I don't know if I'd consider my art absence of 1.5 months to be worthy of referring to it as months, but it's definitely flown by at lightning speed nonetheless.

I have I think four works-in-progress right now, so hopefully I should have something new to post here in a little while .

So it's late at night, and I'm just drawin' away while listening to my favorite trance songs and thought I'd share a couple great artists that anyone should make themselves familiar with if you enjoy trance or easy listening.

I've been listening to this stuff since 2001, and I have to say it's my all-time favorite trance music. Nothing else comes close to really putting me into a relaxed-while-creative mood. There's a music player on that site where you can listen to their music. Go, listen, relax, and let your mind simply float away...

Ray Lynch has been my hero ever since I was first introduced to him in my elementary school math class. My teacher popped in the cassette for Deep Breakfast while we were working on some assignments... and I didn't get anything done because I was simply too entranced with what I was hearing. It was almost a religious experience in realizing that this was the music I truly enjoyed in life. Simple, gentle, flowing, slightly digital... Deep Breakfast is an album I will always have in my collection and something I will never part with.

Does anyone else have a music genre or group that they just can't get enough of?

Darn it, I'm having son withdrawal and can't wait to get home and see him again . It's only a few hours away, but I really want it to be 4:30!! (got to work a little early this morning)

Baby Corbin, a beautiful baby boy, was born on February 12th, 2008 at 9:20 PM weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. and having a length of 20 inches. Both he and mom are doing great, and we're all currently snuggled up in the hospital with a hopeful go-home date of this Friday! I should have some cute pictures of the lil guy ready to share later on (forgot to bring the dongle for my camera to the hospital ).

When my wife will be induced if she doesn't go into labor before then. Both of us have been at the hospital since Friday since my wife's blood pressure has been pretty high. Since being on bedrest, she's been doing just fine, and the baby's in great health . The next time we head home together, it'll be 3 of us!
